Playlist Component Request

OK so the Advertising component is great. I like what it does and where it's headed...but I need something a lot simpler for internal use. How about a Playlist component? You would simply add resources to a stack. Each resource would have its own start/stop and weekday scheduling data.
(Also need the ability to re-arrange the order in the stack)
Then you would simply add the playlist component to the timeline in a channel and not have to worry about certain resources running past their end date.
Also need the ability to have multiple playlist components (for various campaigns) so perhaps use of the "scenes" feature as well.

This would simplify scheduling by leaps and bounds! Comments? Thoughts?

Yep... coming as part of 3.1 and 3.2 release next month. What's also coming is a Facebook Album component so you will be able to just flip through resources in your Facebook library.

3.1 and 3.2 are going to add A LOT of new stuff...

Awesome!!! Just hope for the ability to have *multiple* playlists components.
I can envision creating a timeline with nothing but the playlist components in the channels. Then going over to a list view and putting together the playlist of resources. This would greatly simplify building a lengthy timeline and it would tend to give the timeline some true randomness as it would not necessarily repeat the same resources at the same time every time the timeline started over. Looking forward to this feature!

I love this idea and second the motion.  The scheduling capabilities for individual content and not timelines needs to be greatly simplified but enhanced.
