Are you working on any hardware? Right now I am just running them on old laptops with broken screens, but I was wondering if you are working on some kind of application hardware to run the screens. Check out this website.

We are working on an appliance as well that will run Linux OS and will support our Signage AIRPlayer.
However we will first release our next version 1.0 in late January before we make it available.

Could you go into a little more detail about this. Is is going to support wifi, what distro of linux, form factor.........ect.

We are working on an ubuntu Linux appliance which is due our at the 2nd quarter of next year.
It will support Wifi and will be running on a small PC ( about the size of a DVD Player )

Linux sounds great. I was thinking about getting a used a Dell Mini-PC (2.5GHz Pentium, 512MB RAM) and replacing the harddrive with a 32GB SATA solid state harddrive. This setup is cheap, small and probably very quiet and long-lasting.

What do you think?

This setup should work just fine....

I seen they have the Asus eee mini laptops at walmart and target for $300-$400. This would have everything I need, small, wifi, vga output, linux/windows compatible.  What do you think. Also as far as linux.  Am I going to have to use a specific distro?
