Hey.
We love what you guys are doing, and as a programmer, I understand the long list of improved features that aren't bugs, but just improvements. So here's a short list, the first being the largest thing we would want.

1) I would like more flexibility in scheduling. I want to show CNN News on M W F and CNN Sports on T R. I would also like to be able to then copy, paste and delete schedules from the timeline. That way I can remove Holiday breaks from the lineup.

2) Also with scheduling in mind. 24hr time isn't very intuitive. I get it, but my fellow users that I need to train might not.

3) There NEEEEDS to be text alignment. This would be especially helpful in dynamic text (ie Weather's Day Name)

4) I can take some images I uploaded, make them each show for 30 seconds with a nice dissolve effect transition. But it's fairly tedious. I would love there to be a component that can automatically create a slide show where each picture stays for X seconds with a Y long transition and the pictures are randomly selected from a folder of resources.

You have a strong product. And I'm can't wait to see what it WILL be.

Improvements on Scheduler are in the road map
So are alignments
And you will be AMAZED with the over 100+ transitions and effects coming after winter

Thank you for your interest in MediaSignage,

Hi All,

Just wondering if there has been any update on point 4 that dschmidt posted;

"4) I can take some images I uploaded, make them each show for 30 seconds with a nice dissolve effect transition. But it's fairly tedious. I would love there to be a component that can automatically create a slide show where each picture stays for X seconds with a Y long transition and the pictures are randomly selected from a folder of resources."

Thanks,

Scott.

That is part of release 3.1 coming in a few weeks, which has the new Collection Component.
