We have observed that some error conditions are not being caught.  Some situations (multiple timelines) can cause some players to loose content on some channels.  This is usually due to a memory boundary of some sort (PageFile / Swap).  The player is not able to recover from this condition.  It appears that there are some know limitations with the Adobe SDK and that better error management may allow these types of errors to be trapped apprpriately and allow for the player or station to be rebooted.

This is critical as we can't be dealing with 1300+ owners and dealing with these kind of issues.  The software should ideally handle this or provide a way for the system to restart appropriately.

Thanks,

BradW

Yes, this will be resolved once we move to latest AIR 2.0 Adobe SDK since Adobe finally added Global Error handling ...

Expect it in a month or two...
